Just had my weekend date with Mr. Boyfie after not seeing each other for about a week or so. Made the most out of the day that left me with tired legs and piggies. But its okay especially if you'll include a little window shopping on the side (:

The typical 'gastadera' myself, window shopping turned into item testing, to actual shopping. Just couldnt bear the feeling of going out to the mall and not being able to bag something home - be it a toiletry item, an accessory, and well (of course) a make-up item - regardless of how cheap those items maybe. So you guessed it right, i did give in. And these are the items i got :p

Donut Bun & Hair Puffs

Cant wait to try these babies on! I've been planning to get the Hair Puffs since I saw the hair tutorial video on Say Artillero's channel. I instantly put it on my "MUST HAVE" list and im glad I got it now! The Donut Bun however, I learned on The Beauty Junkee's entry. Such a great way to fix my unruly hair!

This is my very first ELF mini haul and I'm really looking forward to try these babies out. Some of the items I'm looking for however are currently out of stock when I made this visit so I'm kinda disappointed. Those items are among the 'best sellers' so I guess I shouldnt be surprised. 

Hydra Vegetal Kit

One of the reasons why I picked the certain mall we go into is because of the prize I'm about to claim from the Facebook contest Yves Rocher had. Its a brand new line they have which called Hydra Vegetal and the prize is a 7-Day Program Kit. Was very thrilled to know I won but I kinda wish Yves Rocher's admin on Facebook is more responsive on answering and informing the winners on how to claim their prizes. I joined on two venues, one via Facebook and one affiliated with bloggers. Received 2 confirmation message on each contest venues so I expected to bag 2 kits. I asked for a clarification before I head to claim my goodies but to no respond, given that the claiming period is til November 15th. 

Oh well, I went to the boutique anyway, but they said I only have one name listed and that they'll just gonna hand me a kit. I'm like, "okay, its fine". Not being too consumed, but I just wish they were more responsive and clearer when it comes to the contest venues and the prizes. Oh well, I got a kit anyway so, breathe ;p

A' mi. This I can totally use. Been catching my attention whenever I go for a trip at the stalls. At first I thought it was some moisturizing cream on a small jar. The packaging intrigues me, just cause it doesnt come in a stick-like preparation.

This is the first time Celeteque products and I meet. Although I've known the brand for a quite a long time now. Im glad I got these items for FREE for me to check out. Will be having a review of these babies separately, soon.

BDJ BOX: Unboxing + First Impressions

Hello, Lovlies!

First of, I wanna share how my fascination on Beauty 'Subscription Boxes' start to kick in.

I basically love gifts... and boxes. And surprises. Whenever I see one, my system automatically sets to 'cheery festive mode' (well, who doesnt, right?) and starts to picture my favourite things tucked inside readily handed/delivered to my doorstep. Guilty as charged, I LOVE receiving gifts and have a knack for preparing and wrapping them. Paper bags and packages gives me the sudden rush that I, myself, cant even explain. Invigorating, I must say. 

Seeing beauty boxes like Birchbox, Glossybox, MyGlam (Ipsy), etc. through the internet on their respective countries leaves me full with envy. Im like, "Wow, can only wish I live there." Haha!

So imagine my surprise when I learned that beauty subscription boxes have FINALLY landed here on our shores, Im completely stoked! I wished for this for quite a long time and thankfully, Ive been heard!

As I blog this time, atleast 3 beauty subscription services are open in the Philippines (kindly correct me if Im wrong). But one strikes my interest the most. This is BDJ BOX's Premier Box and it is for this month, October.

First of, Id like to rave about the scent of the box. I can smell it from the package even before I open the box itself. I love smelling things (weird, I know), and this baby smells soo good.

Overall, the box contains 8 products PLUS 1. I love the October Box. Other than the fact that its my very first Beauty Box, its more on the 'cleansing' side which is nice for starters. I love the perfume sample, its with the same family to the scents I use. Its really important to take the quiz in order for your box to be personalized with the products you and your skin needs. Being a make-up lover, I kinda wish there were at least 3 make-up products included ;p But, have you seen the list of the brands they carry? Expect nothing less but quality! Something to look forward to this coming November!
